Sharon has worked in children’s museums and schools for over 30 years. She was awarded the Provost Fellowship at the University of Rochester where she earned a PhD in multicultural education. Her writing has been published in the Association of Children’s Museums Quarterly Journal, the Journal of American Indian Education, and Teacher Education Quarterly. Her book Native Cultural Competency in Mainstream Schooling was published by Palgrave Macmillan. Sharon has worked as a museum consultant in North Africa as a Fulbright Specialist.
Rajiv has a PhD in Environmental Science and Engineering from Clarkson University and a master’s degree in education from St. Lawrence University. Rajiv is passionate about chemistry, environmental science, and sustainability. He inspires students and colleagues alike by creating joyful learning environments. Rajiv is excited to bring a love of science to kids in the North Country.
Liza received her MFA in Visual Studies from SUNY Buffalo and her Bachelor of Fine Arts from SUNY Potsdam. In addition to creating and exhibiting her own artwork, Liza teaches drawing and 3D design at St. Lawrence University and SUNY Potsdam. Trent Trulock has a masters’ degree in Anthropology with a focus on Museum Education from the University of Colorado. He started his museum career at the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis running activities for kids and working with youth volunteers. He went on to coordinate programs and volunteers at the Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum and to direct the St. Lawrence County Historical Association. Trent loves engaging with kids, families, interns, and volunteers of all ages.
