Join the Crane-based Frackenpohl Honors Brass Quintet and students from the Crane at the Museum afterschool class for a concert outside the museum! The quintet will discuss their instruments and play music for everyone to hear. After School students and kids in the audience will be able to accompany them with percussion instruments!
FHBQ is a scholarship based quintet from the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam. They perform on campus and throughout New York State and occasionally Canada. They have played in masterclasses with Boston Brass, Joe Alessi, Douglas Prosser, and many others. They have performed in various venues such as Troy Music Hall and the Egg in downtown Albany. They have also given masterclasses in various schools around northern New York.
