Using only one sheet of tin foil to design a boat to hold the most pennies. This program will make you think about how different designs are stronger than others and the reasoning behind it. Each child will be given instructions by Clarkson SWE members and materials and have 30 minutes to design multiple boats. At the end of the time, everyone will gather around the boat testing area to see which boat was the strongest and discuss the different designs used.
