Little Lotus Yoga for Toddlers

For kids walking to age 5, with a caregiver. A mix of movement, music, and stories based in yoga. Class starts with an “om” and ends with a craft. Fun for both kids and adults. Yoga with Sarah Scafidi-McGuire. Caregivers stay with children during the program. $60 for six sessions.

Family ART Program – Make Your Own Piñata

Do you have something to celebrate? Come make your own pinata to enjoy at your next celebration. This is a faster process than paper mache. You will be able to leave with your pinata the same day as you make it.

Preschool Program – Mattise Water Play

Come play in our large tubs of water. We will have Matisse inspired floating shapes to arrange and rearrange. Can you create a floating masterpiece?

Family STEM Workshop – Dissecting Owl Pellets

In this workshop we will find out exactly what owls eat and why they regurgitate their meals! We will also look at bones under the microscope, and see if we can reconstruct the prey of our nocturnal neighbors.

Family Art Workshop – 3D Puffy Paint Sidewalk Chalk Mural

Come create a large collaborative mural outside of the Children's Museum. This public piece of art will be temporary, but powerful. We will use a homemade puffy paint mixture that makes your large drawings pop off the sidewalk. This mural will really stand out!

Korean Drumming Workshop with In-Sill Yoo

Come find out why oil spills have such a drastic impact on our environment and take part in your own mini oil spill clean up. Children will get their hands dirty trying to clean up stuffed animals and soak up as much of the oil as possible.

Family Art Workshop – Tinfoil Relief Sculptures

Come learn about Relief Sculptures. This is a process that allows for sculptures to be raised out of a 2D surface. Make your own raised relief sculpture by sculpting into a flat piece of tinfoil. Flip it over and see your raised results.
