Come create a "drape painting" installation inspired by artist Sam Gilliam who was famous for creating paintings and presenting them in a sculptural 3D display. After we collaboratively paint our "canvas" we will drape it within the museum to be on display for the remainder of the month to celebrate black history month at the museum.

Honoring Dr. Lisa White: We will learn how archaeologists use their tools to dig up dinosaur bones! Then, we will use those tools to find dinosaur bones buried right here at NCCM. Can you figure out what kind of dinosaur we found?
