Explore and create in the world of ceramics! Kids will be working with clay; learning techniques of hand building, carving, and glaze work. Pieces will be fired and returned to take home. No previous ceramic experience necessary. Pre-registration is required.

Through hands-on exploration and activities, kids will learn about insects, their habitats, behaviors, and anatomy. This program sparks curiosity and inspires young entomologists to investigate the important roles insects play in nature, fostering a deeper appreciation for the tiny creatures around us. Kids will participate in a variety of messy art activities in this fun, sensory class. Come make a mess at the museum, so your house stays clean! We do suggest a change of clothes.
