Explore and create in the world of ceramics! Kids will be working with clay; learning techniques of hand building, carving, and glaze work. Pieces will be fired and returned to take home. No previous ceramic experience necessary. Pre-registration is required.

Kids will participate in a variety of messy art activities in this fun, sensory class. Come make a mess at the museum, so your house stays clean! We do suggest a change of clothes. Create imaginary creatures through an array of mediums. We will explore different artistic techniques including sculpting (Monster Masks), claymation (Monster Movie), painting (Life-sized Self-Portraits as Monsters), and assemblage art (Frankenstuffies) to bring our monstrous visions to life.
